Reino Vivo Arrives in São Bernardo do Campo: An Immersive Family Adventure Between Nature, Technology and Wonder

Reino Vivo Arrives in São Bernardo do Campo: An Immersive Family Adventure Between Nature, Technology and Wonder
06/20/2026 by Gianluca Falletta

Reino Vivo arrives at Shopping Metrópole in São Bernardo do Campo as one of the most ambitious immersive and interactive family experiences ever created in Brazil. Developed by DXZ360, a company specialized in the design and production of immersive environments, interactive exhibitions and technology-driven attractions, the experience invites visitors of all ages to cross the boundary between the human world and the animal kingdom through a spectacular journey where education, entertainment, scenography, animatronics and digital interaction come together in a powerful new format.

Created by DXZ360, Reino Vivo was developed with the valuable collaboration of UAU Grupo, a Brazilian agency specializing in creative technologies and immersive experiences, and On Projeções, a company focused on audiovisual solutions and projection technologies with operations in Brazil. The result is a large-scale immersive attraction designed to transform a visit to the mall into a memorable expedition across the planet’s biomes, offering families, schools, children, teenagers and adults a direct encounter with biodiversity through high-impact visual storytelling and educational interactivity.

Open from June 18 to August 30 at Shopping Metrópole, the exhibition reinforces the mall’s position as a destination that goes far beyond shopping, increasingly becoming a space for leisure, culture, discovery and shared experiences. Located in the covered G1 parking area of the shopping center, Reino Vivo is accessed through its dedicated portal, positioned near the escalator close to Riachuelo and Rei do Mate. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is structured as a continuous journey through immersive rooms, themed islands, interactive stations and life-sized animal reconstructions.

The concept behind Reino Vivo is based on what DXZ360 defines as education through immersion. Instead of presenting environmental awareness as a passive lesson, the experience turns knowledge into a physical, emotional and playful journey. Visitors are not simply observing animals or reading information panels: they are invited to move through ecosystems, interact with digital environments, respond to missions, activate visual effects, play educational games and experience the wonder of standing face to face with creatures recreated at real scale through high-fidelity animatronics.

From the very first moment, Reino Vivo establishes its narrative identity with “The Guardian’s Call”, an immersive room using mapped projections and mirrors to expand the perception of space and introduce visitors to their mission inside the animal kingdom. This opening sequence works as an emotional and technological gateway, preparing the audience for a journey that combines imagination, science and environmental responsibility. The Guardian becomes the symbolic guide of the experience, inviting families to explore the planet’s ecosystems with curiosity, respect and a renewed sense of connection with nature.

The route then unfolds across six major thematic islands inspired by different biomes and animal habitats. The Cerrado Island celebrates Brazilian fauna, presenting emblematic species such as the maned wolf, jaguar, giant anteater, capybara and tapir. This section connects visitors to the richness of Brazil’s natural heritage and highlights the importance of protecting one of the country’s most significant ecosystems. The African Savanna follows with monumental animals recreated at real scale, including elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, lions and zebras. Here, the impact of scale becomes central to the experience, allowing visitors to feel the physical presence of some of the planet’s most iconic creatures.

The Global and Exotic Fauna Island expands the journey beyond Brazil and Africa, introducing animals from different regions of the world such as pandas, koalas, gorillas, kangaroos and platypuses. The Wetlands and Aquatic Zones Island immerses visitors in environments inspired by rivers, mangroves and flooded landscapes, featuring species such as caimans, crocodiles, pirarucu, stingrays and piranhas. The Sky Island is dedicated to birds and reptiles, including blue macaws, toucans, hawks, owls, cockatoos and seriemas, while the Little Guardians Island closes the route with an educational nursery specially designed for younger children, featuring 16 baby animals and a softer approach to discovery.

Across the exhibition, more than 50 animal species are reconstructed with high-fidelity animatronics, while promotional materials also highlight a broader universe of over 80 animal representations throughout the experience. This combination of scenographic design, movement, sound, light and interaction creates a sense of presence that cannot be replicated by a screen at home. Reino Vivo is designed to make visitors feel the roar of the savanna, the depth of wetland environments, the surprise of an animal encounter and the emotion of learning through direct participation.

Interactivity plays a decisive role in the attraction. In the World of Colors, visitors use giant brushes and panoramic touchscreen walls to bring giraffes, birds and other animals to life in a collaborative digital environment. In the Frog Kingdom, interactive trampolines activate hundreds of digital frogs on a panoramic lagoon, turning movement into a playful connection with the ecosystem. In the Macaw Kingdom, a giant ball pit allows visitors to interact in real time with a large digital screen, creating a dynamic relationship between physical play and visual response. These installations are designed not only to entertain children, but also to reinforce engagement, participation and learning through action.

The Knowledge Arena adds another layer to the experience by offering quizzes and educational games focused on environmental conservation, animal species and planetary biomes. This space transforms ecological awareness into a fun, accessible and family-friendly activity, helping children and adults absorb key messages about biodiversity and preservation without interrupting the emotional rhythm of the journey. For schools and educational groups, this makes Reino Vivo especially relevant as a field trip destination, combining entertainment value with meaningful content.

According to Silvio Nogueira, operational manager at DXZ360, the company’s proposal with education through immersion goes far beyond a contemplative visit. Reino Vivo was designed as a progressive journey of real connection with nature, where the visual and emotional impact of standing in front of life-sized animals becomes the spark for curiosity. From that point onward, the experience evolves into active participation, as children stop being spectators and become part of the ecosystem through interactive stations, digital games and mission-based discovery.

For Shopping Metrópole, hosting Reino Vivo strengthens its commitment to offering original experiences capable of surprising, engaging and creating meaningful connections with the public. Gabrielle Laurino, marketing manager at Shopping Metrópole, emphasizes that receiving an unprecedented immersive attraction with strong appeal for the whole family transforms the shopping center into a destination for leisure, coexistence and discovery. This positioning reflects a broader evolution in retail and entertainment, where shopping centers increasingly become cultural and experiential hubs rather than purely commercial spaces.

Reino Vivo is accessible to all ages and has been designed with families in mind. Children up to 2 years and 11 months have free admission, while individual tickets include full-price and half-price options. Promotional combos are also available for families and groups, with special offers starting from R$ 130 for two people, R$ 180 for three visitors and R$ 200 for groups of four. Special conditions are available for school groups and institutions, making the exhibition an attractive opportunity for educational visits, family outings and collective experiences.

The attraction operates from Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are sold through Fever with scheduled time slots, allowing visitors to select their preferred date and time directly during the booking process. The experience lasts approximately 45 minutes per session and takes place at Shopping Metrópole, Praça Samuel Sabatini, 200, Centro, São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, 09750-902.

Accessibility has also been considered in the design of the main route, which was planned to welcome people with disabilities throughout the principal exhibition path. Some specific interactive activities may have restrictions due to the physical characteristics of the attractions, but the overall journey was conceived to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible.

Reino Vivo represents a new generation of immersive educational entertainment, where technology is not used as a distraction but as a bridge between emotion and knowledge. Through life-sized animatronics, mapped projections, interactive scenography, digital play and environmental storytelling, DXZ360 has created an experience that speaks to today’s families while encouraging a deeper awareness of the natural world. It is a journey where children can play, adults can rediscover wonder, and everyone can leave with a stronger sense of connection to the planet’s extraordinary biodiversity.
